Ephesians 2:19-22 Windermere Ministries will begin a defining moment in our church's history - Building God's Family. Over the course of three years, we want to focus all of our energy and resources into building our ministry for God's kingdom. That will have a different look at each of our churches, but the emphasis is all the same. Our church is located in growing area of Central Florida. New families move into the area daily and more housing development are underway. Many of these families are visiting our church every Sunday. We are making an eternal difference in their lives and God desires for us to move to the next level of influence. Our facilities are almost full. The dominant group of people moving into our area is young families with children. In our Master Plan, facilities for every age and ministry are planned, but we believe that the next building phase for us is to provide a state-of-the-art Children's Education Building. It will include:
The benefits of this building will be significant. We will be able to reach more people for Christ, help families grow and impact the community at every level. As our children move into this new space, we will use our modular space for students and adults.
First Baptist Church WindermereTo reach more families and to expand our vision, we must first expand our facilities. Limitation…The possibilities of growth at FBCW have only been limited by the size of our facilities. We can only grow as large as our buildings can accommodate. Capacity…Two or three times a year we reach capacity in our Sunday morning services due to parking, worship seating, and education space. We can overcome our limitations and capacity by BUILDING A TWO-STORY EDUCATION SPACE! 14,250 additional square feet that will join the FLC and the Worship building together. And that's not all… God has also provided us with the opportunity to purchase the house next to our parsonage. The house on the corner of Forest and Fifth quickly came on the market and the Pastor and Elders have made an offer contingent on church approval for $455K. We will move the finance office in this space initially with future plans to use this property to provide much needed parking for our campus.
