Adult Small Groups
There are two types of Small Groups:
· Campus Small Groups that meet Sunday mornings
on a church campus.
· Home Groups that meet in homes.

Our Purpose
Our Adult Small Groups are central to our second Purpose of BELONG. Whether
they meet on Campus or in Homes, they are the most effective places where people
connect. They are personal, relational, and fun. They are places to make friends,
establish lifelong relations and grow together spiritually.
Our Small Groups encourage four things:
· Transformational Bible Study - we must transform our thought, actions and purpose
through our relationship with God as taught from the word of God.
· Connecting - we must develop real relationships with one another.
· Serving - we must strengthen our relationship with God's church by
involving ourselves in a ministry to the community. · Caring - we must act out those relationships with care, support and
love.
Acts 2:46 - "...They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad
and sincere hearts..."
Acts 5:42 - "Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house,
they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the
Christ."
I like Home Groups because it's in the home. Food
taste better in someone's home. Fellowship and getting to know someone just
is better in someone's home. Sharing God's Word and how it will impact you this
week is more meaningful and real in the home. -Cathy
I love Adult Small Groups because you get to spend
quality time with friends from church while also learning. On Sunday mornings
there isn't time to speak with your friends for any length of time because you
are too busy dropping off kids at their classes, picking them up from their
classes, and helping out in whatever ministry you are a part of. Also, [small groups] provide a setting to really get to know people on a deeper
level than if you just sat by them in a class for a little while every week.
I have made wonderful friendships that go beyond what I have ever had in any
of the past churches I attended. It is obvious how everyone in the group genuinely
cares for one another and wants to help each other whenever an opportunity arises.
