Get Connected

It's not enough to say that we love God and others; love is an action and must be displayed. One of the ways that we love God is through serving Him through ministry to others.

Getting connected will allow you to live out God's given purpose for your life. He created us in order that we may know Him, worship Him, and serve Him. As we grow in Him and share His love with others we become a part of His family. By getting connected you set out on that journey of living with purpose.

Serving in the church is a critical part of every Christian's spiritual journey. Serving helps you grow. It helps you stay focused on God and His plan for your life.

Paul says in Eph. 2:10 (NIV), "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Ministry is like a tree, with its many branches stretching out over the width and breadth of the church. These branches serve the members (or leafs), bringing nutrients and vitality. Together, they provide protection and strength to all who come and take cover.

The individual who says "there's nothing for me to do in the church" lacks understanding. With so many needs and so many members, to effectively run a church, it takes the participation of everyone. God has made each of us unique and brought us to the church to share our blend of talents and gifts.

We encourage you to discover the joy and the impact that you will make in the lives of others as you serve God by serving others.

I've been created for ministry.
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance
for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

I've been called into ministry.
I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Ephesians 4:1

I've been gifted for ministry.
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others. 1 Peter 4:10

I am accountable for my ministry.
So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Romans 14:12

I will be rewarded for my ministry!
Whatever you do, work at it with all you heart, as working for the Lord, not men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord. Colossians 3:23
